Mohit Sharma Comeback After 3 Years PBKS Vs GT Mohit Sharma IPL International Career Journey Returns

Mohit Sharma Comeback: Indian fast bowler Mohit Sharma played a decisive role in the IPL 2023 match played on Thursday (April 13) night. This bowler of Gujarat Titans took two wickets for just 18 runs in four overs against Punjab Kings. Due to his bowling, the Punjab team was able to score only 153 runs, which was not so difficult to chase. Gujarat Titans won the match by 6 wickets and Mohit Sharma was adjudged ‘Player of the Match’.

This ‘Player of the Match’ award really means a lot to Mohit Sharma. This is because after three whole years he got a chance to play an IPL match. Earlier he had played only one match in IPL 2020. From here he came out in such a way that now he got a chance to be a part of the playing-11 of any team in IPL. The good thing is that his comeback was a bang.

International debut was done in 2013 itself
Mohit Sharma has also been an important part of Team India’s ODI squad at one time. Between 2013 and 2015, he played 26 ODIs for the Indian team. He has also played 8 T20 Internationals. He has a total of 37 international wickets in his name. Mohit’s international debut was in IPL 2013 due to his explosive bowling.

Dhoni chose for CSK when he shone in Ranji
Mohit was the fifth highest wicket-taker in the 2012–13 Ranji season. His fast bowling brought him to the CSK camp and for IPL 2013, Dhoni made him a part of his squad. Here Dhoni also handed him the new ball. Mohit took 20 wickets in his first IPL season. This was the reason that he got a chance to make his international debut this year.

Mohit’s magic lasted till IPL 2017
After this, Mohit continuously played the role of an important bowler for Chennai. Till IPL 2017, he kept troubling the opposition batsmen with his bowling. But from here his bad form started and from IPL 2018 to IPL 2020 he got a chance to play only 11 matches. He remained missing from the field in IPL 2021 and IPL 2022. The condition was that this bowler of Team India had remained a net bowler. However, 34-year-old Mohit has once again made a strong comeback and it is expected that he will continue in the team.
